“My granny’s red-flag division” (KDIMB) is a Moscow band of 13 musicians playing violins, bass-viols, mandolins, flutes, accordions, glockenspiels and more traditional instruments. They create “volatile” symphonic music - a patchwork made from Canadian orchestral post-rock, eccentric punk-rock and absurd-like fairytale lyrics. Their performances are usually accompanied by video installations compiled from psychedelic soviet cartoons.
